The African Development Bank (AfDB) hereby invites Consulting Firms to express their interest in the following assignment: Consultancy Services for a Study on Cross-Border Exchange Points in Nigeria, as part of the Preparatory Studies of the D-VIBE Project.
The AfDB will support the Government of Nigeria in implementing the Digital Value Chain Infrastructure for Boosting Employment (D-VIBE) Project, a national backbone initiative representing a total investment of USD 2 billion. The project aims to deploy 90,000 km of fiber optic infrastructure to expand equitable access to affordable, high-speed broadband across the country. It is designed to accelerate digital inclusion, enhance public service delivery, reduce gender and rural-urban disparities, and unlock productivity in key sectors such as agriculture, education, healthcare, commerce, and governance. This study forms part of the preparatory activities led by the AfDB in support of the project.
