The objectives of the assignment are to:

Elaborate and implement a fully-fledged capacity building program aimed at raising awareness and updating and improving the knowledge and the necessary skills of the Super-ESCO team within SANEDI as well as that of its subcontractors and partners, as regards all ESCO processes related issues
Support the Super-ESCO team in the organization and skills development of the energy efficiency market in South Africa.
Support SANEDI in the concept, definition, development and implementation of internal tools, processes and procedures for the operationalization of the Super-ESCO.
Support the Super-ESCO in the development of its initial pipeline of EE and DSM investment projects, considering as a priority State-Owned Entities, municipalities and provincial government departments.
Support the Super-ESCO in the analysis, contractual negotiation and financing aiming at the realization of its first investment projects.
Devise, develop and implement risk management tools and procedures for Super-ESCO.
Review and optimize existing EE and DSM projects for integration within the Super-ESC0 approaches.
Support DEE and SANEDI for the definition and establishment of a national and international fundraising strategy (equity, loans, grants, etc.) for EE and DSM projects.
