Under the leadership of the Director, Climate Change and Green Growth, and direct guidance of the ACEF Task Manager, the consultant firm’s duties will include the following activities (more details are outlined in the Terms of Reference, which will be provided to the shortlisted firms):
- Analyse the current status and emerging/future trends of circular economy in Africa to inform adjustments to strategy and operational priorities
- Review and assess overall governance and management arrangements
- Review portfolio approach and prioritization criteria
- Assess the results framework and progress towards intended outcomes and impact
- Provide a detailed Findings Report
Methods include:
- Desk review of background documents
- Research on circular economy market globally and in Africa, and trends on CE financing instruments
- Online interviews of internal stakeholders
- Virtual consultations / online interviews with relevant external stakeholders
