The objective of the consultancy is to provide medium-term technical assistance to enhance the Technical coordination, Monitoring and Evaluation Function for the Programme on Integrated Development and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Niger Basin (PIDACC/NB) and the Building Climate Resilience for Food and Livelihoods in the Horn of Africa (BREFOL). In particular the consultant will liaise with Project coordination Units in the countries, AHAI2 Task Managers and other implementing partners in enhancing the programme’s monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
Specifically, He/she will support the Chief Climate Smart Agriculture Officer in the technical coordination, monitoring and evaluation taking into account the requirements of financial partners including the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
